Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Our guide will pick you from the hotel. Travel to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda. You will enter the park in time for lunch. Enjoy your afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo for sights of Hippos, Crocodiles, Water birds and Land mammals taking a drink at the water’s edge. Go for an evening nature walk before you retire. Dinner and over night at Eagle nest Camps/Rwonyo camp.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Travel to Bwindi
Wake up early for your morning game drive which may reward you with views of animals like Hyenas, Jackals, Zebras, Buffaloes, Warthogs, Water bucks, Bush bucks, Topis and many more. After the game drive, travel to the Bwindi gorilla sanctuary. The journey takes you through areas characterised by beautiful mountain scenery, farmlands and rural villages. You will reach Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in the evening. Relax at the lodge.

Day 3: 2hrs-8 hours Gorilla safari Uganda
Our guide will transfer you the park headquarters after breakfast. Get briefed by park ranger guides about gorilla trekking, the activity to be done. With carry on parked lunch, embark on a 30 minutes – 8 hours trek through the impenetrable forest in search of the mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the spot where the gorillas were last seen the previous day. After a quite one hour observing the gorillas, return to your accommodation.

Day 4: Boat Ride and community tour
Drive to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful places in Uganda. Go for a day out canoeing and visit the local communities who are residents to these islands. During the tour, learn the culture and practices of the people. Feel free to do some shopping of the eye catching arts and crafts exhibited by the locals. Relax and watch the sunset before retiring for the evening, Dinner and over night at Bunyonyi Overland Camp (Budget) / Arcadia Cottages (Midrange) / Bunyonyi Bird Nest Lodge (Luxury)
Day 5: Boat ride and Evening Nature Walk
Return to your lodge before you embark on your journey back to Kampala where the safari ends.
