Brief Itinerary

Day 1: After breakfast, you will be picked up by our guide. Travel to Lake Queen Elizabeth National Park, a savanna national park in Western Uganda. Take a launch trip along the Kazinga Channel.
Day 2: Full Day game drives in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Lion tracking in the park.
Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, in south Western Uganda via the Ishasha Sector. Look out for the tree climbing lions.
Day 4: Go for gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Optional Nature Walk in the afternoon
Day 5: Travel to Lake Mburo National Park. Boat trip along the Lake Mburo + Evening game drive.
Day 6: Return to Kampala.

Day 1: Travel to Lake Queen Elizabeth National Park

Pickup by our guide from the airport or hotel. Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Western Uganda. Located in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, the park is a hidden gem that offers great opportunities for wildlife viewing. You will have lunch enroute. While entering the Queen Elizabeth National Park, keep an eye out for any game that you may come across. Some of the animals in the park include the Elephants, a variety of antelopes, buffaloes, hippos and many others. In the evening you will go for a launch trip along the Kazinga Channel, a place known to have a high concentration of hippos in Africa. Day 2: Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will go for an early morning game drive in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. During the drive you will be able to see various animals. Some of the animals to look out include lions, elephants, Uganda Kobs, topis, duikers and so many others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for breakfast and then lunch. Day 3: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, in south Western Uganda. The journey takes you through the Ishasha Sector, a place known for hosting the tree climbing lions. Try out your luck and look out for the cats that hang on the fig trees. Continue to Bwindi National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site protecting almost half of the world’s remaining population of the mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking

Gorilla tracking begins very early in the morning. Therefore after breakfast, you will be transfered to the outpost. Get briefed about gorilla tracking in Bwindi. Led by a ranger guide you will go for gorilla tracking within the impenetrable forest. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park not only hosts the mountain gorillas. It also hosts other primates that include chimpanzees, Lhoest monkey, black and white colobus monkey, red tailed monkey and many others. During the gorilla trek, you will encounter interesting flora as well. Upon meeting the mountain gorillas, you have up to 1 hour to see the endangered mountain gorillas. Day 5: Travel to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, travel to Lake Mburo National Park in Western Uganda. Though this is Uganda’s smallest national park, it is a rewarding destination given that it hosts some of the big five, a good variety of antelopes, and more. You will have lunch in Mbarara Town and then proceed to Lake Mburo National Park. On arrival you will go for a boat ride on the lake where you will be able to see various water birds and animals like the hippos and crocodiles. Day 6: Return Kampala

Go for an early morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. After the game drive you will have breakfast and embark on a return trip to Kampala. Make a stopover at the equator for photography and souvenirs. Arrive in Kampala in the evening. Arrival time on this day depends on time of your departure flight.
