Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala – Jinja
Depart for Jinja in Eastern Uganda. Visit the Source of the Nile. Overnight at the 2 Friends Guest House (Budget) / Havens Lodge (Midrange) / Wild Waters Lodge (Luxury)
Day 2: Travel to Mbale
Half Day Rafting. Continue to Mbale located at the foothills of Mount Elgon, an extinct volcano of Uganda. Dinner and overnight at the Sipi Falls Rest Camp (Budget) / Mbale Resort (Midrange)
Day 3: Travel to Pian Upe Game Reserve
Visit the Sipi Falls. Travel to Pian Upe Game Reserve one of the less discovered wildlife conservation areas in Uganda. Possible sightings include Ostriches and cheetahs. Evening game drive in Pian Upe National Park. Dinner and overnight at UWA bandas (Budget) / Karamoja Overland Camp (Midrange)
Day 4: Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park
Early morning game drive in Pian Upe National Park. After breakfast, drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. Located in the remote North Eastern Uganda, Kidepo is a well kept secret. Dinner and overnight at Savanna Safari Lodge (Budget) / Ngamoru Camp (Midrange) / Apoka Lodge (Luxury)
Day 5: Game Drive in Kidepo National Park

Day 6: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up for an early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast and start off for the drive to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have lunch in Gulu town. Check into the lodge in the evening.
Day 7: Game Drive
After an early breakfast, go for a game drive to catch up with the early risers. After the drive, return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon go for a boat cruise along the Nile River.
Day 8: Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, travel to Fort Portal town in Western Uganda.
Day 9: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
Early morning go for Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale forest.
Day 10: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a scenic park located at the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Go for an evening game drive in the park. Relax at the lodge.
Day 11: A Launch Cruise along the Kazinga Channel
Game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Launch trip along the Kazinga Channel.
Day 12: Depart to Bwindi for Gorillas
In the morning, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Day 13: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi. Nature Walk in the afternoon.
Day 14: Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest savanna park in Uganda. Relax at the lodge.
Day 15: Travel to Kampala
Start your day with an early morning game drive. After the drive, have breakfast and then drive to Kampala. Drop off at the hotel or airport.

Day 7: Game Drive
After an early breakfast, go for a game drive to catch up with the early risers. The Wildlife in the Murchison Falls National Park includes elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, oribis and waterbucks.
After the drive, return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon go for a boat cruise which gives an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. During the game viewing safari, expect to see crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants, bee-eater and the rare shoebill stork etc. Dinner and overnight at

Day 8: Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, travel to Fort Portal town in Western Uganda. The drive southwards takes you through Albertine Rift passing through the villages and beautiful scenery. Have lunch en route and arrive in Fortportal late afternoon. In the evening take a nature walk guided by the local guides. The walk takes you around the 1000 acre farm, to the Mahoma Water Fall, Several crater rims, past alcohol brewing in oil drums, through banana plantations, coffee terraces, agricultural farms of cassava, groundnuts, sorghum and millet. Day 9: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
Early morning go for Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale forest. Assemble at Kanyankyu Tourist Centre and the start off with the search for the chimpanzees as well as other mammals in the forest. Kibale national is a habitat to 13 primate species, which include, black & white colobus monkeys, Red colobus monkeys, Vervet monkeys among the many. After lunch, go on for a nature walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, managed by the Kibale Association for Rural and Environmental organization, a local community based organization working towards conservation and development. You will be guided and walk around the swamp, which is home to approximately 137 bird species including the Snowy Headed Robin Cat, Black and White Casqued Hornbill, Emerald Cuckoo and a variety of Weavers, Warblers, Greenbuls and Sunbirds. There’s also an abundance of Butterflies. It’s also rich in vegetation, such as wild palms, polita figs and the dominant papyrus. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the previous lodge.
Day 10: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a scenic park located at the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Go for an evening game drive in the park. Relax at the lodge. Dinner and over night at

Day 11: A Launch Cruise along the Kazinga Channel
After a cup of coffee, embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and expect to see Lions, Elephants, cape buffalo, Warthogs, leopard, hyena, mongoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, Topi and lots many small animals and birds. After lunch, enjoy the unique evening 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Day 12: Depart to Bwindi for Gorillas
In the morning, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, through the southern sector of the park. Here you will look out for the famous tree climbing lions as they rest up in the large forest trees. Check into the lodge, go for a community walk through the near by villages in the afternoon. Overnight at your Buhoma Homestead / Gorilla Resort / Gorilla Forest Camp
Day 13: Trek Gorillas
An early breakfast after which you proceed to the park offices for a briefing, then continue on the trek. We advise you bring with you hiking shoes, long pants and long sleeved shirts for the gorilla trek. A packed lunch and water is provided by the lodge. After the trek relax at the lodge, or go for sight seeing around Bwindi Forest. Overnight at your Hotel
Day 14: Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest savanna park in Uganda but characterised with unique attractions. Have lunch in Mbarara town. On arrival, go for a game drive through the park. During the drive you may see animals like the zebras, elephants, impalas, Uganda cobs, eland and so many others. In the evening, go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo where you will see crocodiles, hippos and many water birds. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp/ Rwonyo Rest Camp
Day 15: Travel to Kampala
Start your day with an early morning game drive. After the drive, have breakfast and then drive to Kampala. You will make a stopover at the equator for photography and souvenirs and then proceed to Kampala arriving in time to catch your departure flight.
